When a typhoon reaches land it causes large swells on the shore that carry the ocean inland, washing in the sandy, white, light green, and blueish-green colors of the sea. Typhoon Bordeaux is imbued with the same colors, and as they stream across the slab it creates a bubbled and streaked pattern. The striking diagonal lines of this slab create a flow, a wide motion in the stone that makes the stone a hypnotic storm.
The neutral colors of this stone combined with the movement in the pattern make this stone notably suited for galley kitchens, to maintain that flow that is held in the stone. This pattern and color is often popular for bathrooms that want a more nautical or sea spa type theme.
