Who Are We?
Granite Liquidators is a local wholesale granite distributor founded under our parent company, Rocky Mountain Forest Products. We are a family-owned and run company that has been a part of Colorado’s community for over 45 years. We are proud to lead a team that takes pride in their work and is human just like our clients. We don’t want it to feel like you’re dealing with a salesperson- we want it to feel as if you are talking with a good friend. We are a passionate group of people whose goal is to make homeowner’s dream kitchens and bathrooms become a reality – at a fraction of the cost of some of our competitors. In this blog, we will be talking about what makes us, us. Granite Liquidators as a company strives to be transparent, and provide value to our customers!
Why Choose Granite Liquidators?
Granite Liquidators was created to fill in the space between the quarry and end fabricator. The original process of mining for granite and the fabrication process, along with the installation was originally a job meant for a skilled tradesman. Technology soon evolved making the process much easier and safer. Surprisingly, granite and marble countertops weren’t a very popular trend until the late ’90s. There was a limited selection, but eventually granite and marble became a standard in all homes. Granite Liquidators operates as a wholesaler. We get our products directly from the quarries, which allow us to be able to provide a high-quality product with the most affordable pricing. We also get a wide variety of stone colorations and patterns, which gives our clients more variety.
The Process of Buying Granite
Step 1: The first step in our process is finding the right slab for the job. We stock over 700 slabs, with new ones coming in every month. Come take a look around our granite yard and get your questions answered by our highly knowledgeable stone specialists.
Step 2: Once you have your slabs picked out and purchased, we will refer you to a few different fabricators around town that will be able to complete your project. By using our preferred fabricators, you can have a quicker turnaround time, as well as save money in the process.
Step 3: Relax. All the hard stuff is done. Now you just have to sit back, wait for your installation to be complete and then enjoy your kitchen!
What Makes Us, Us?
We make sure that all our promises are kept and we never fall short. Here is everything that makes us who we are:
- We carry not just granite, but we also stock marble, quartzite, dolomite, calcite, soapstone, and natural stone.
- We offer upfront transparent pricing with no costs ever hidden.
- All our stones are hand-selected based on their rarity in colors and patterns.
- We are one of the few natural stone suppliers open to the public in the US.
- We usually have over 700 slabs on the ground, with around 200 slabs imported from Brazil, India, and Africa every month.
- Simple one-step process, straight from the quarries to us.
Three of our main goals as a company are providing a better selection to our clients than other suppliers. We want our clients to feel confident in finding a stone that matches their design perfectly. We often get stones with rare colors and patterns that are unavailable to our competitors. Secondly, we offer better prices than most suppliers. Our pricing is straightforward and honest, we never hide any pricing or fees. What you see is what you are charged. Lastly, we offer better quality control because we handpick all our slabs from the quarries. This means that we can avoid any damaged or low-quality slabs because we only pick the best ones.
At Granite Liquidators, we want to make the renovation process fun and enjoyable, not stressful and nerve-wracking. We offer resources such as our website, FAQ page, and our blogs. These not only hold useful information, but they are good resources if you are looking for some inspiration. Of course, we also have our sales team. Our team is educated and knowledgeable about all our stones and their characteristics. They make sure to provide all the necessary information so you can feel confident in choosing the right stone for your kitchen. Everyone here is not only a team, but a family!
