Atacama granite is a silky vanilla stone that is filled with green crystals. These green crystals are known as tourmaline. The most common occurrence of tourmaline is, as an accessory mineral in igneous rocks. It usually occurs as millimeter-size crystals scattered throughout granite. Which makes our stones in particular very rare. Thin veins make their way through the stone from one crystal pocket to another. The faint hints of gold in the green crystals in this stone add interesting depth and vivid color to an otherwise neutral slab.
This beautiful stone would pair best with a wood grain cabinet or even a green cabinet that matches the crystals in the stone.
